On Pesach, we throw off the shackles of the ego in whose slavery our soul is. Because it is the ego that does not allow us to the next step, making it difficult to get what we really need. Freed from its influence, we can clearly see the surrounding reality and create order instead of chaos in our lives.

For this, on the eve of the holiday, we get rid of the personification of our ego - from what is called chametz in Kabbalah. Chametz is kvass and yeast products. We clear our mind of “gifts” Satan, cleaning our houses from hamets, and these are:

  • any cereals: wheat, barley, rye, oats, spelled, as well as their derivatives flour products: pasta, cakes and cookies, "non-pastime" matzo, etc.
  • beer, whiskey and any other alcohol, which is a product of fermentation of cereals; wine is allowed;
  • malt and yeast products, vegetable extracts, glucose, mustard and other seasonings, malt vinegar and pickled products;
  • in the Kabbalah Center is not consumed in food and kitniyot: products from the category of legumes, soybeans, corn, rice, peanuts, sunflower seeds and sunflower oil, etc. We also refuse garlic.

Thursday, April 18
22:00 - Search Hamets

Friday, April 19
10:00 - Burning Hamets
Searching for and burning hamets is a spiritual procedure that gives us the power to see our own ego and cancel it. On the eve of Passover, in the darkness with a candle, we search for the last crumbs of Hamets, as if searching for all the manifestations of our own negativity in spiritual darkness. In the morning, with the help of a special meditation, we "cancel the chametz", which was found and which was not found, so that it would not be an obstacle for us to receive Light.

From this moment until the end of the holiday (April 6) we do not eat chametz and kitniot!

In the evening, on Pesach, a special spiritual procedure, Seder (translated from Hebrew - “order”), is carried out.
On this day, with the help of a special technology during the meal, we have the opportunity to build harmony and order (Seder) in our lives despite the forces of chaos that dominate the rest of the time.
This year Pesach falls on Friday, and the clean and open Light of Shabbat will be added to its energy! Do not miss the chance to gain double strength and true freedom!

7th day of Pesach

The 7th day of Pesach is the realization of the energy of the whole feast. On this day we arrive at the final exit point from Egypt - to the disclosure of the Red Sea. But this miracle is in fact only a natural consequence of what happened on the 7th day of Passover — then the power of letters and combinations of 72 Names of God were activated in the Universe, which was only available to the Forefathers until that moment. On this day, we sing Shirat aYam - the Song of the Sea, just as Moses and the Israelites sang it after the Red Sea was revealed. The words of this song connect us to the source of our own soul and spiritual reality.
